Get ready for a travel adventure like no other — welcome to Get Lost! featuring dynamic hosts Michael and Lonita as they embark on a whirlwind road trip that's sure to spark a sense of wanderlust and adventure. Come along as the two friends journey to unique destinations within a few hours from Kansas City. To kick off their travels, the duo start out in the historic East Bottoms of Kansas City, then head off to Missouri towns Excelsior Springs, Hamilton and Marceline.

Vying for a bigger purpose in life, Michael and Lonita combine the forces of friendship and exploration in a mission to unlock travel’s deepest gift: finding themselves by getting lost. Buckle up and follow along as they unveil the hidden treasures of unique and surprising destinations.

Meet the Hosts

Michael Mackie

Michael Mackie is a travel writer and Emmy-award-winning TV host. Mackie recently became a member of the prestigious Society of American Travel Writers. In addition to his travel writing, Mackie is the former co-host of KSHB's daily entertainment show, KC Live, and has worked with local TV stations in Des Moines, Iowa, and Orlando, Florida.

Lonita Cook

Lonita Cook is a creative producer, film critic and arts advocate. As a critic, she contributes to network shows like KCTV5's My KC Live and Des Moines WHO13's Hello Iowa! Cook serves on the Kansas City Film Critics Circle board and is a member of the world's largest professional collective of critics, the Critics Choice Association.
