‘Wonder when it will win'
Harriet Radetsky of Leawood, Kansas, has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, breast cancer, follicular lymphoma and metastatic breast cancer.“I've been fighting one cancer or another for almost 20 years. It has become part of my life. It has made me a stronger person emotionally and mentally.
“The first time I was diagnosed, I was shocked, stunned and frightened. With each new diagnosis, I've become numb. I'm not sure why I'm still alive, but I'm grateful and trying to appreciate and enjoy life.
“Our family has had many bouts with cancer over the years. Dr. Mark Davidner has been our ‘family oncologist’ for many years. With his help, I choose each treatment. Fortunately, I've had good health insurance and family that helped when needed.”
