‘Scary, doctors, hospitals, procedures, results, prayers'

Christi West is a breast cancer survivor from Protem, Missouri. She had her last chemo treatment in September.

“I was diagnosed with breast cancer 7/18/2014. I have since undergone a lumpectomy, radiation and chemotherapy. I’ve gone back to work full time and am on an aromatase inhibitor for the next five years. I pray every day that it never comes back!”
Christi’s six words to describe her cancer experience are “Scary, doctor, hospitals, procedures, results, prayers.” Share your six words here.

Christi’s words, which were shared digitally through Tell KC, have been lightly edited for clarity.
