Tasha Pettis of Kansas City, Missouri, is a breast cancer survivor.
“My mother had breast cancer at 35 and ovarian at 45, and she fought it for three years before passing. I tested BRCA1 at 25 and, at 31, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Grandmother had rectal cancer when I was 17, and Aunt is going through treatment now.”
