Kansas City PBS is excited to announce that 90.9 The Bridge has been named “Radio Station of the Year” by the Missouri Broadcasters Association.
Winners of the 2021 MBA Awards were announced Sunday, August 8, during a live ceremony in Branson, MO.
"I'm incredibly proud of our crew for adapting to the challenges of the past 17 months,” said Bryan Truta, senior director of radio operations for The Bridge. “From providing free underwriting for local and diverse organizations to virtual interviews with notable/emerging artists, specialty programming and exclusive on-air/digital content, The Bridge has only sharpened our dedication to music discovery and to Kansas City. We appreciate our listeners and members who have come along for the ride, and can't wait to celebrate this achievement with our 20th anniversary on August 19!”
