KCPBS Honors ‘American Veteran’ with Collection of Programming & Reporting

Email share

American Veteran is a four-part documentary series tracing the veteran experience across the arc of American history and exploring the present-day divide between civilian and veteran communities. From the citizen-soldiers returning from the Revolution to today’s warrior class, it is a profoundly moving story, illuminating the veteran experience and drawing civilian viewers into an unfamiliar culture.

Watch American Veteran Tuesdays at 8 p.m. beginning Oct.25 on Channel 19.1.

In anticipation of the series, Kansas City PBS is proud to present a collection of additional programming, reporting and more, exploring the lives of veterans, their experiences and how they returned to civilian life.

You can view all of these specials at the links below or within the PBS Video App.
